 Where are you?
Google Adsense – Where Are You? We bring you our numerous platforms, give you space for your ads, but where are you when we need you?
At a recent Google Adsense meetup, I (and many others) discovered Google Adsense has no customer support department or even dedicated customer support person. Got a question or problem? You can fill out a form (in the Help Center) – assuming you can find it. And then just wait. And wait.
When reading Dan Schwabel’s R.I.P Twitter As a Marketing Platform, his comments about the need for good customer service rang a bell. While I’m not convinced Twitter is no longer a viable marketing platform (it’s still one of the top three ways I reach my audience), he makes a great point about the need for customer service. Sex And The City 2
The following is another guest post by my father, frequent writer of movie reviews. That he actually went to see this one is a surprise to me. Even before reading this I had no intention of doing so myself.
Movie Review – Sex and the City 2 – Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall. Comedy / Drama – About two hours long and in theaters now.
The four ladies are back with their relationships and insights into life and love. Three of them are now married and the single one is getting older. Life still has problems. Married life is sometimes boring, work hard and children can drive you nuts. There are jealousies, hot nannies and a host of other difficulties which more or less get resolved (sort of) on a trip to the Middle East. As you might expect the main theme of the movie is about relationships. Continue reading Sex And The City 2 – Movie Review

Facebook Addicts - This Is For You (Us)
The following is the result of a fabulous thread by fellow Facebook Addicts Todd E., Dan H., Aloha J., John M., and Julie M.
Step 1. We admitted we were powerless over the Facebook, and that our lives had disappeared into the abyss of a computer screen.
Step 2. We came to believe that a power greater than Google could restore it to sanity.
Step 3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of the electric company, AT&T, Comcast, Verizon, and Apple, and iTunes…
Step 4. Made a searching and fearless moral e-inventory.
Step 5. Admitted to everyone on FB the exact nature of our entire lives. Continue reading Facebook Addicts Anonymous 12 Steps

 Robin Hood with Russell Crowe
This is a guest post by my father. We both enjoy writing reviews of movies, events, places, etc. Here’s his review of Robin Hood (2010).
Movie Review – Robin Hood with Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchette – about 2.5 hours and in theaters now. (Trailer here.)
Think of this as “Robin Hood the Prequel” because it is not the story you are familiar with. In this version Robin is an archer in King Richard’s Army which is looting France on the way home from losing one of the crusades. Through a series of events Robin ends up in Nottingham, marries Lady Marion and has to help the newly crowned King John kick out the French. Of course there is all kinds of evil afoot and lots of plotting and fighting. We even have some sort of a love interest (it’s hard to tell since Robin displays almost no emotion) with Cate Blanchette as a kind of older, grubby looking Maid Marion.
